oh no big deal the sun is rising...
This weekend my best friend and cousin, Madeleine , came to visit her sister and I at school. We took a hip hop class from a girl who went to our highschool and it was so hard but fun! It was always so difficult for her to find the time to visit, so when I heard she was actually on the train on her way to Milwaukee, I was so pumped. She has always been there for me and the same for her. I love her to death. We got back from partying our butts off at 4 a.m. and sat and talked until 7:30 a.m. Pretty much I am robotic right now, but it's all worth it!!
- Lesson of the day: Try to have heart to hearts with the ones you love as much as possible. :)

Oh how interesting this weekend will be...

My new thang: tights with high waisted shorts. Today it was a beautiful 40 degree day in Milwaukee. When I woke up ( after realizing I slept through my spanish class, oh well ) I decided I'm going to take a break from leggings and wear something funkay! All day I rawked it. I wore my new light blue high waisted jean shorts, black sheer tights, a flowy poncho-like top, my brown boots, feather earrings, cheetah print furry belt, and of course my amazing leather jacket. I felt like a rebel and loved it. My favorite type of clothing to wear is first and foremost, always comfortable. But what I truly enjoy is the feeling of not giving a crap. My style is kind of all over the place, one day I'm lazy, the next I'm girly, and before you know it my wearing a flannel shirt with jeans looking kind of tom boyish. It is all about feeling good! :)

I can't believe how fast winter break went by. I was expecting it drag on and on and on. It was such a relaxing and reflecting time for me. I thought of how I spent my time first semester and how I can improve myself for the better & how my happiness can grow more and more each day. Even though I had the month of July to get the college feel with the incredible opportunity of FFP, being a 1st Semester Freshman was tough. Like Destiny's Child always says,
"I'M A SURVIVOR. I'M NOT GUNNA GIVE UP. I'M NOT GUNNA STOP. I'M GUNNA WORK HARDER. "
2nd Semester...WATCH OUT!

Claire is the reason I decided to join the life of a blogger. She is one of the most positive people I know & is always there for me. We always know how to pick one another up and it is so comforting to know she has my back. Her blog is something I read all the time and it truly is worth it. She has taught me a lot about myself and I can't even explain how thankful I am that I met her and to have her as one of my best friends and sistaz!
